Leverich Canyon is a super fun Bozeman trail. This trail is on National Forest land and it’s a one-way, bermed, banked, jump filled romp!
The ride to Emerald Lake is pretty awesome. The trail is this thing called a “time-share”. Each day there’s a different mix of user-types allowed on the trail. The day that I rode I saw dirtbikes, hikers, dogs and mtb’ers.
Half way across the USA now, and heading west. We made it to the Black Hills in South Dakota and we’re planning on seeing a few things around here next.
But related to my previous post, here is the list of “new places”. For those with OCD, you’ll note that we have now colored-in the mid-west hole, except for Nebraska.

I finally made it up to the Goodrich-Loomis trails near Belleville/Trenton. We were hearing the “heat advisory warning” on the radio on the way up to the conservation area. 33 degrees celsius, 39 with humidex. Joy.
Based on the tip from Scott, I decided to check out the trails at “Mad River” that are even better than the Perry Hill trails…

So the guy from Millstone told me to go check out Perry Hill, near Waterbury VT.
His description made it sound like a flow trail or something. He described it as a descending trail that had some berms and some tough downhills. But a “flow” trail this was not. The berms were on the climbing trail! The descent was anything but a machine-built sidewalk…
